Why can’t I just do it myself?

You can! However there are actually a load of reasons why we think its much, much easier (and cheaper), for us to come and do it - and we reckon our results will likely outshine a DIY effort ;)

How long will it take to dry?

A tough question to answer accurately! It depends on a host of factors - weather conditions, ambient temp, moving air, humidity, carpet type and composition, underlay, soiling level….

Short answer - we tend to say “about as long as a load of laundry in the same conditions”. Anything from a few hours, up to 24hrs or so :)

What is your price guarantee?

We’re confident we have the best pricing (we checked again very recently!), so if you find a verified quote in the area that is cheaper, we’ll happily beat it by 15%!

This price-promise extends to the overall total quote, not individual line-items.

Are your cleaning detergents & agents safe?

Absolutely! We use only industry standard approved cleaning agents which are safe and regulated. Our trained technicians know them inside-out, how to dilute and use them safely.

All our cleaning agents and chemicals are safe for humans, plants and pets :)

Are your cleaning agents green & eco-friendly?

Of course :) As a conscious business, we ensure all our ‘chems’ are super-safe and environmentally friendly. They are safe to put into the waste water system and/or drains - and won’t harm our ecosystems plants, animals or humans :)

Do I need to vacuum?

Ideally, yes! Vacuuming can remove a lot of loose soiling from the carpet fibres, the removal of which helps give a much better result during carpet extraction. Vacuuming prior to our techs’ arrival will speed up the cleaning process - meaning less time, less noise, and a better drying time!

Do you move all the furniture in the rooms?

Our technician’s work single-crewed, which means in accordance with Worksafe, ACC, Insurance & our health & safety at work policy, they are unable to move heavy items of furniture safely.

They will do their absolute best to work around your furniture, but if you have something heavy that requires cleaning behind or under, then we politely ask you prepare the area prior to arrival :)

Do I need to move all the furniture in the rooms?

If there are items on the floor that can be easily moved (lamps, bins, children’s toys, rugs, side-tables etc), then please pop them on the bed or away on a hard surface! This will really speed up the process.

As mentioned above, our guys can’t safely move heavy items of furniture on their own, so will work around those items unless moved prior.

The appointment slots don’t quite suit my schedule - can I arrange a different time?

Need an early or a late slot? No problem! Just drop us a note and we’ll arrange a date and time to suit you. We can also accommodate some weekend or overnight slots on request.

Do you do repairs?

Unfortunately we are’t set up for repairs, we are cleaning only. However we may be able to refer you to our trusted partners to carry out repairs.

Is the fabric protection treatment worth it?

Short answer, Yes! We use the most advanced & highly effective professional chemical treatment on the market. We apply it with a commercial spray applicator (much, much better than a cheap aerosol from a homewares store!)

Whilst its not 100% infallible, the treatment is very effective in preventing permanent stains, if the spill or stain is extracted promptly!

Can you clean Persian, Turkish & Moroccan rugs?

Cleaning these hand-dyed, hand-woven rugs is a very specialist service! Unfortunately it is not a service we are offering at the moment.

Are your technicians background checked?

Yes! All our very friendly techs have current and up-to-date police check certificates.

Are your technicians vaccinated?

Yes. As per NZ Government advice, to help keep our customers and community safe, all our techs have received the Covid-19 vaccine (1, 2 + booster).

How can I pay?

We send an invoice on completion of the job with a payment link that accepts all major debit & credit cards. Alternatively we accept bank transfer or cash.

We politely ask that payment is made prior to the invoice due date.

Is your payment platform secure?

We use a best-in-class 100% secure payment system to process payments. We do not hold on on to any of your personal or sensitive data.

I’m not happy with the result, what can I do?

During the initial inspection, our experienced techs will have let you know any areas or stains that they think may not be removable, or may not come up very well. They are all professionally trained, and will do their best to get a good result! But they will also manage expectations as to the result they may or may not be able to get (We’re good, but we can’t perform miracles!).

However if you are not happy with any part of your service, you just need to let us know right away! And it could be we just need to pop back and rectify it (for free of course!).
